Arcadian Winery Dinner

Posted 03/13/2019

Dearest wine lovers, it is with great pleasure that Seabrook Island Club invites you to our Arcadian Winery Dinner on March 28th, hosted by the winery’s owner himself, Joe Davis. Beginning at 6 pm in the Carolina Room, join us for an evening of our chef’s decadent morsels, expertly paired with wine selections from the Arcadian Winery.

pinot noir wine

Davis’ passion for wine and winemaking began in his college days when he took a position at a wine shop. After a repeat customer gifted him with a 1978 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, Domaine Dujac for Christmas, Davis knew that he wanted to make winemaking into a career. Thus began a love affair with winemaking that is still going strong.

Davis studied everything he could about the process and the business, and over the course of his more than thirty-five years in the industry, he has experimented with the creation of burgundies, chardonnays, and many more. His focus, however, tends to be on pinot noir.

At Arcadian Winery, Davis’ team uses French artisanal methods and hands-on management techniques to produce wine that repeatedly garners praise from the most respected wine critics in the industry. It is their commitment to craft that allows them to create such high quality wines that express the uniqueness of their Californian region.
