Visiting Seabrook Island
Just miles from historic Charleston, Seabrook Island is an easy drive from anywhere in the Southeast – only 219 miles from Charlotte and 350 miles from Atlanta. And it is one of the easiest beaches to reach from the Midwest.
Seabrook Island is a private, welcoming, island community within a short distance of Freshfields Village and Kiawah Island, South Carolina. If you are interested in visiting Seabrook Island and seeing its many amenities, please call 843-768-2560 to arrange a convenient time and date. Upon arrival at Seabrook Island, proceed directly to the reception center before and to the right of our security gate. We will be happy to arrange a tour of the island and provide additional information about the amenities and services available to property owners and guests.
Seabrook Island Club
Seabrook Island Club is a private club in a gated sea island community that welcomes visitors throughout the year. Renting a property from a club member will provide you with access to our golf, tennis, equestrian and fitness facilities. In addition, you may enjoy our restaurants and renowned Beach Club complex with two oceanfront pools, arcade, gift shop and beachfront restaurant, open seasonally. To access these amenities during your stay on Seabrook Island you will be provided with Seabrook Island Club Amenity Cards that are linked to your personal credit card. The amenity cards will be used for purchases made at Club facilities and as your pool and fitness center pass.
Certain Seabrook properties have a Club Amenity Fee, which can be designed to be daily, weekly or monthly, depending upon the length of your stay and your preferences. We encourage you to check with the rental agent or owner of the property to determine if you will be required to pay this amenity fee. An $11 deposit for each amenity card is required, but will be refunded to you when the card is returned to our Amenity Office in good condition and working order. Amenity cards may be arranged in advance and mailed to your home address prior to your stay on Seabrook by contacting the Amenity Office.
Guests who rent properties from owners who are not Seabrook Island Club Members may obtain a Lake House POA Amenity Card that provides access to the Lake House pool and fitness facilities only.
Property rentals on Seabrook Island may be arranged through rental agents or directly with property owners at internet sites such as VRBO.com. The Seabrook Island Property Owners Association
The Seabrook Island Property Owners Association manages the Island's infrastructure including our Roads, Beaches, Access Gate/Security Staff and the Architectural Review Committee. The POA also manages the beautiful Seabrook Island Community Center's Indoor and Outdoor Pools, Fitness Center, Community Library and Community meeting rooms. All Seabrook residents and their guests have access to this facility.
The Town of Seabrook Island
The Town of Seabrook Island is incorporated with a volunteer mayor and council. Their main role is encouraging visitors and potential residents to come to Seabrook Island and the town is also responsible for zoning regulations and own the Seabrook Island Water Company.
