Seabrook Island’s Racquet Club Receives Top 50 Ranking in the World
Tennis Resorts Online this year, once again, ranked Seabrook Island’s Racquet Club as a toptennis resort for 2011. Rankings come from guests who visit www.tennisresortsonline.com to rate their experiences at different resorts. Roger Cox, who developed the web site, spent 17 years writing for Tennis magazine.

The Annual Alan Fleming Tennis Tournament, which hostsmore than250 players, has received the following awards:
- 1996 “South Carolina Senior Tournament of the Year"
- 1996 "Southern Section Adult Tournament of the Year"by the South Carolina Tennis Association.
- 2005 "South Carolina Adult Tournament of the Year" by the South Carolina Tennis Association.
- 2008 Nominated by the South Carolia Tennis Association for "Charitable Tournament of the Year". Over the last ten years the tournament has raised more than $221,500 for the benefit of Hospice of Charleston Foundation.
